The Ideal Rockaway 4415 is a 44-inch landscape rake built for mini skid steers and compact loaders. It uses 41 replaceable Hardox 450 steel teeth to remove rocks from approximately 1/2 inch to 8 inches while conditioning the soil in the same pass. With an 8+ GPM hydraulic requirement and compact footprint, the 4415 brings Rockaway’s rock-removal system to smaller machines used for landscaping, property maintenance, seedbed preparation, and cleanup.
The included screening bucket uses reinforced 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings to let loose dirt and sand sift back onto the job site while retaining larger rocks and debris. Instead of hauling away a bucket full of usable soil along with the rocks, operators can remove unwanted material while leaving more workable soil behind. The single-rotor, #80 chain-drive design keeps the attachment relatively simple to operate and maintain.
Features
- Integrated Screening Bucket: Reinforced 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings allow loose dirt and sand to sift back onto the ground while retaining larger rocks and debris.
- 1/2- to 8-Inch Rock Removal: Removes a wide range of rocks and unwanted debris while preparing the soil for finish work.
- 41 Hardox 450 Steel Teeth: Replaceable teeth provide durable ground engagement for rock removal and soil conditioning.
- Rock Removal and Soil Conditioning: Processes the top layer of soil while collecting unwanted material, reducing separate raking and cleanup steps.
- Compact 44-Inch Width: Designed for mini skid steers and compact loaders working in tighter areas where a full-size landscape rake isn’t practical.
- Single-Rotor Design: Uses one rotor and one #80 chain for a straightforward drive system with fewer moving components to maintain.
- Low Hydraulic Requirement: Requires just 8+ GPM, making it suitable for many mini skid steers without high-flow hydraulics.
- Low-Profile Design: Helps maintain visibility of the work area from the operator’s position.
- American Made: Designed and built in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

What does the Rockaway 4415 do?
The 4415 removes rocks and unwanted debris while conditioning the soil. Its rotating teeth work through the ground and collect rocks in the screening bucket, helping prepare the surface for landscaping, seed, sod, and other finish work.
How does the screening bucket work?
The screening bucket uses 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings that allow loose dirt and sand to sift back onto the job site while retaining larger rocks and debris. This helps reduce the amount of usable soil carried away when the bucket is emptied.
Does the screening bucket require additional hydraulics?
No. The screening bucket itself has no hydraulics or moving parts. The machine’s hydraulics power the Rockaway rotor, while loose material sifts through the openings in the bucket.
What size rocks will the 4415 remove?
The 4415 is designed to remove rocks approximately 1/2 inch to 8 inches in diameter, along with sticks and other unwanted debris.
How much hydraulic flow does the 4415 require?
The 4415 requires at least 8 GPM of hydraulic flow and has a maximum hydraulic pressure of 3,200 PSI. High-flow hydraulics are not required.
Are the rotor teeth replaceable?
Yes. The 4415 uses 41 replaceable Hardox 450 steel teeth.
How does the 4415 compare with the larger Rockaway Landscape Rakes?
The 4415 is the compact model designed for mini skid steers and smaller loaders. Its 44-inch width and lower hydraulic requirement make it better suited to compact machines and tighter work areas. The larger 7415 and 8415 are designed for full-size skid steers and compact track loaders and provide substantially more coverage per pass.
Can the 4415 condition soil as well as remove rocks?
Yes. The rotating teeth work through the top layer of soil as they remove rocks and debris, helping break up and prepare the surface for seed, sod, and other landscaping work.
Can I use the 4415 for more than rock removal?
Yes. In addition to removing rocks, the 4415 can collect sticks and other debris while conditioning soil, making it useful for landscaping, lawn renovation, property cleanup, and site preparation.
What maintenance does the 4415 require?
The 4415 uses a relatively simple single-rotor design with one #80 drive chain and replaceable teeth, helping keep routine maintenance and wear-part replacement straightforward.
Note: Match the splitter to your machine’s lift capacity, hydraulic flow, hydraulic pressure, couplers, and mount. Smaller walk-behind loaders may need extra attention because the splitter weight plus log weight can add up fast.

Keep More Good Soil on the Job Site
The screening bucket lets loose dirt and sand sift back onto the ground while retaining larger rocks and debris, so you’re not unnecessarily hauling usable soil away.
Remove Rocks and Prep Soil Together
The rotating rotor removes unwanted material while conditioning the soil, reducing hand raking and separate ground-preparation steps.
Bring Rock Removal Into Tighter Areas
The compact 44-inch design gives mini skid steer operators a purpose-built landscape rake for residential landscaping and other areas where a full-size attachment would be cumbersome.
Keep Maintenance Straightforward
A single rotor, one #80 chain, and replaceable teeth keep the drive system relatively simple and reduce the number of moving components that need attention.
