Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Eterra Sidewinder V2 is a 36″ flail-style brush cutter built for mini skid steers. Its open-face design handles tall grass, brambles, and thick brush without constantly packing up, while the offset-capable mount lets you cut closer to fences, ditches, and other obstacles.
A compact design keeps the mower close to the machine for better stability, while Y-Knife flails and a curved housing cut and mulch material as you work.
Features:
- Cuts & Mulches as You Go: Y-Knife flails process grass and brush into smaller material, leaving a cleaner result than simply knocking vegetation down.
- Offset for Fence & Ditch Work: Slide the mower to one side when you need to cut closer to fence lines, ditch edges, landscaping, and other obstacles.
- Built to Keep Material Moving: The open front, deep cutting chamber, and curved housing help tangled vegetation flow through the mower with less buildup.
- Follows Uneven Terrain: A full-width steel roller and floating hydraulics allow the mower to follow changing ground contours instead of requiring constant loader-arm adjustment.
- Keeps the Weight Close: Positioning the mower close to the attachment plate improves stability and makes the Sidewinder better suited to the smaller footprint of a mini skid steer.
- More Than a Grass Mower: Built for medium to hard brush, grass, and brambles, giving property-maintenance and land-clearing crews one attachment for a wide range of vegetation.
- Smooth Flail Operation: An electronically balanced blade carrier helps the mower spin smoothly and efficiently while reducing unnecessary vibration.

How thick of brush can the Sidewinder V2 cut?
Eterra describes it as easily cutting material up to 2″, with the ability to cut up to 4″ with careful operation. It is intended for grass, brambles, and medium to hard brush.
What hydraulic flow does it require?
The Sidewinder V2 has a published hydraulic flow range of 8-26 GPM with a maximum pressure of 3,500 PSI. The mower needs to be properly configured for the carrier’s actual hydraulic output.
Can I use it for mowing along fences?
Yes. This is one of the Sidewinder’s standout features. Its mounting system allows the mower to slide to one side so you can position the cutter closer to a fence or ditch line without putting the mini skid directly over the area being cut.
Does it follow uneven ground?
Yes. Eterra uses floating hydraulics along with a full-width steel roller to help the mower follow the natural contours of the terrain.
Is this a rotary brush cutter?
No. The Sidewinder is a flail-style mower using 20 Y-Knife blades. The flails cut and process vegetation inside the housing rather than using a large horizontal rotary blade.
Why is the mower positioned so close to the mini skid?
Keeping the attachment close to the mounting connection centralizes its weight and helps reduce teetering on uneven terrain. That’s especially important on a smaller carrier where attachment leverage can have a noticeable effect on stability.
Will the Sidewinder fit my mini skid steer?
Fitment depends on the machine’s mounting system, hydraulic flow, hydraulic pressure, and operating capacity. Your exact mini skid make and model should be confirmed before ordering to make sure the mower is set up correctly.

Get More Clearing Done With Your Mini Skid
Turn the machine you already use for cleanup, landscaping, and tree work into a capable brush mower without stepping up to a full-size skid steer.
Mow Right Up Against Fence Lines
The adjustable mounting system allows the Sidewinder to shift to one side, making it easier to reach vegetation along fences, ditch edges, and other areas where the machine can’t drive directly over the material.
Cut Without Constantly Fighting Clogs
The deep, open-face cutter and curved housing give vegetation room to move through the mower instead of accumulating underneath it.
Stay Stable on Uneven Ground
The Sidewinder sits less than 24″ in front of the attachment connection, keeping its weight close to the carrier and reducing the teetering that can happen with attachments hanging farther out front.
- Fence-line mowing
- Ditch and drainage maintenance
- Tall grass and overgrown properties
- Brambles and tangled vegetation
- Trail maintenance
- Landscaping contractors
- Tree services and property cleanup
- Small acreage maintenance
- Areas where a full-size skid steer is too large
