Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Ideal Rockaway Skid Steer Landscape Rake removes rocks and debris while conditioning the soil in the same pass, helping prepare ground for seed, sod, landscaping, and finish work without hours of hand raking. A single rotating drum fitted with replaceable Hardox 450 steel teeth works through the top layer of soil, pulling out rocks from approximately 1/2 inch to 8 inches and collecting them in the bucket.
Choose between the 74-inch 7415 and 84-inch 8415 to match the rake to your machine and the amount of ground you need to cover. Both sizes come with a screening bucket that uses reinforced 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings to sift loose dirt back onto the job site while keeping larger rocks and debris in the bucket. The 74-inch model is a versatile fit for full-size skid steers and compact track loaders, while the 84-inch model provides greater coverage and capacity for larger machines and open areas. Both require only 10+ GPM and use Rockaway’s straightforward single-rotor, #80 chain-drive design.
Features
- Two Sizes Available: Choose the 74-inch 7415 for a more compact full-size rake or the 84-inch 8415 for greater coverage on larger machines and open job sites.
- Integrated Screening Bucket: Reinforced 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings allow loose dirt to sift back onto the ground while retaining approximately 1-inch-and-larger rocks and debris.
- 1/2- to 8-Inch Rock Removal: Pulls rocks and unwanted debris from the soil while preparing the ground for finish work.
- Hardox 450 Steel Teeth: Replaceable teeth are arranged in a spiral pattern around the rotor for durable ground engagement and effective rock removal.
- Rock Removal and Soil Conditioning: Works the top layer of soil while removing unwanted material, reducing separate raking, cleanup, and ground-preparation steps.
- Single-Rotor Design: Uses one rotor and one #80 chain for a straightforward drive system with fewer moving components to maintain.
- Low Hydraulic Requirement: Both sizes require only 10+ GPM and do not require high-flow hydraulics.
- Low-Profile Design: Provides better visibility of the work area from the operator’s seat.
- Low Maintenance: Two rotor-bearing grease points and a simple drive system keep routine maintenance manageable.
- American Made: Designed and built in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

What is the difference between the 74-inch and 84-inch Landscape Rakes?
Both sizes use the same basic Rockaway design and require 10+ GPM. The 74-inch 7415 weighs approximately 1,000 pounds and uses 69 rotor teeth. The 84-inch 8415 weighs approximately 1,150 pounds and uses 81 teeth. The 84-inch model gives you more coverage per pass, while the 74-inch model is a better fit when you want to keep the attachment narrower and lighter.
How does the screening bucket work?
As the Rockaway collects rocks and debris, the screening bucket’s 3/4-inch diamond-shaped openings allow much of the loose dirt and sand to sift back onto the job site. Approximately 1-inch-and-larger rocks and debris remain in the bucket so you’re carrying away less usable soil.
Does the screening bucket require additional hydraulics?
No. The screening bucket is mechanical and has no hydraulics or moving parts. The hydraulic system powers the Rockaway’s rotor, while material sifts through the openings in the bucket.
What size rocks will the Landscape Rake remove?
Rockaway Landscape Rakes are designed to remove rocks approximately 1/2 inch to 8 inches in diameter along with sticks and other unwanted debris.
How much hydraulic flow does the Landscape Rake require?
Both the 74-inch and 84-inch models require at least 10 GPM, with a maximum hydraulic pressure of 3,200 PSI. High-flow hydraulics are not required.
How deep does the Landscape Rake work the soil?
Ideal lists approximately 3/4 inch of working depth per pass on the individual 7415 and 8415 product pages. Actual depth can vary with soil conditions and operating technique.
Are the rotor teeth replaceable?
Yes. Both models use replaceable Hardox steel teeth arranged in a spiral pattern around the rotor. The 74-inch model uses 69 teeth, while the 84-inch model uses 81.
Which size should I choose?
The 74-inch model is a good all-around choice for full-size skid steers and compact track loaders when you want strong coverage without the additional width and weight of the largest model. Choose the 84-inch model when your machine can comfortably handle the additional weight and you want to cover more ground per pass.
Can these be used with compact track loaders as well as wheeled skid steers?
Yes. Ideal markets the 7415 and 8415 for both track and wheeled loaders. The right size depends on your machine’s attachment capacity, hydraulic specifications, width, and mounting configuration.
What maintenance does the Landscape Rake require?
The Rockaway uses a relatively simple single-rotor design with one #80 drive chain and two rotor-bearing grease points. The teeth are replaceable, keeping routine maintenance and wear-part replacement straightforward.

Remove Rocks Without Hauling Away Good Soil
The Rockaway removes rocks and debris while its screening bucket lets much of the loose dirt sift back onto the job site, leaving more usable soil where you need it.
Prep the Ground in Fewer Passes
Rock removal and soil conditioning happen together, cutting down on hand raking and separate ground-preparation steps before seed, sod, or finish work.
Choose the Right Coverage for Your Machine
The 74-inch model gives you a versatile full-size rake, while the 84-inch model covers more ground per pass for larger machines and open areas.
