MBW | Skid Steer Vibratory Roller
Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The MBW Skid Steer Vibratory Roller Attachment gives skid steers and compact track loaders a heavy-duty compaction setup for soil, aggregate, base material, and other site-prep work. Available in 73- and 84-inch working widths, each size can be ordered with either a smooth drum for general compaction and finish work or a padded drum for more aggressive soil compaction.
MBW builds the roller around a hydraulically powered exciter system with an oil-mist lubrication design and a vibration-isolated drum that helps reduce vibration transferred back to the carrier. An integrated knockdown blade helps level material ahead of the drum, while the universal quick-attach frame makes the roller compatible with properly sized skid steers and compact track loaders.
Features
- Smooth or Padded Drum: Choose a smooth drum for general compaction and finishing or a padded drum for more aggressive soil work.
- Two Working Widths: Available in 73- and 84-inch configurations to match different machines and job sizes.
- Hydraulic Vibratory Exciter: The hydraulically powered exciter delivers consistent vibration without a separate engine or power unit on the attachment.
- Patented Exciter Shaft Design: MBW designed the exciter system to reduce shaft deflection and operating temperatures while helping protect bearings and seals.
- Oil-Mist Lubrication: The exciter system uses an oil-mist design for dependable lubrication during operation.
- Integrated Knockdown Blade: A blade built into the front of the frame helps level loose material before the drum passes over it.
- Vibration-Isolated Drum: The drum is isolated from the attachment frame to reduce vibration transferred into the skid steer or compact track loader.
- Universal Quick Attach: All configurations use a universal skid steer quick-attach system.

FAQs
What is the difference between the ATS and ATP rollers?
ATS models use a smooth drum, while ATP models use a padded drum. Smooth drums are well-suited to general compaction, aggregate, base material, and finish work. Padded drums provide a more aggressive surface for compacting soil.
What is the difference between the 73″ and 84″ models?
The 73-inch models provide a 73-inch working width and 8,850 lb. of centrifugal force. The larger 84-inch models provide an 84-inch working width and 9,765 lb. of centrifugal force. The 84-inch attachments are also heavier, so carrier capacity should be checked carefully before ordering.
Should I choose a smooth or padded drum?
A smooth drum is the more versatile choice for aggregate, gravel, base material, and finish compaction. A padded drum is better suited to soil where a more aggressive surface can help work and compact the material.
What does the knockdown blade do?
The integrated blade helps level loose material before it reaches the roller drum, allowing minor grading and compaction to be handled in the same pass.
How much hydraulic flow does the roller need?
All four configurations are rated for 10–50 GPM at 1,500–3,000 PSI. MBW recommends using the low-flow hydraulic circuit when the carrier has separate high- and low-flow connections.
Does this require a high-flow skid steer?
No. The roller can operate with as little as 10 GPM, so high-flow hydraulics are not required. The hydraulic system still needs to stay within MBW’s specified flow and pressure range.
What hydraulic couplers does it use?
The attachment uses 1/2-inch flat-face quick couplings.
How much does the attachment weigh?
Depending on width and drum type, the roller weighs from 1,940 to 2,410 lb. The skid steer or compact track loader must have sufficient rated capacity for the specific configuration.
Does vibration transfer back into the skid steer?
MBW isolates the vibrating drum from the main attachment frame to reduce the amount of vibration transferred back into the carrier.
Note: Because attachment weight changes substantially between the four configurations, machine compatibility should be checked against the exact roller being ordered rather than assuming every listed carrier is appropriate for every width and drum type.

MBW covers new ground compaction equipment under a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty coverage begins according to MBW’s published warranty terms and requires product registration. Coverage is nontransferable, and normal wear, transportation, misuse, improper maintenance, modifications, and other exclusions outlined by MBW are not covered.
If a warranty issue comes up, contact Echo Eqpt and our team can help get you pointed toward the appropriate MBW warranty process and authorized repair support.
Compact Without a Dedicated Roller
Add vibratory compaction capability to a properly sized skid steer or compact track loader without bringing a separate self-propelled roller to the job.
Grade and Compact in One Setup
The integrated knockdown blade can level loose material immediately ahead of the drum, helping reduce extra passes with another attachment.
Match the Roller to the Material
Smooth and padded drum options let you choose between general-purpose finish compaction and more aggressive soil work.
Cover More Ground
The choice of 73- or 84-inch working widths makes it possible to balance maneuverability with the amount of material covered on each pass.
Reduce Vibration at the Carrier
The isolated drum design helps keep more of the vibratory action at the attachment instead of sending it through the loader.
