The Stinger Series 3 Bale Spear is built for farmers, ranchers, and hay operations moving large square bales, round bales, and heavy feed loads. Its three-spear layout gives operators more support across the bale, with the two outside spears spaced 52" apart on center and one spear placed in the center of the attachment.
This is a strong fit for skid steers, compact track loaders, and tractors with universal skid steer quick attach. With available 39", 43", and 49" spear options, replaceable double-nut tines, a 70-degree back angle, heavy-duty tubing, and a built-in safety step, the Series 3 is a practical choice for daily bale handling when a single or two-spear frame is not enough. Stinger lists the Series 3 at 280 lbs with 43" spears.
What is the Stinger Series 3 Bale Spear used for?
The Series 3 Bale Spear is used for moving large square bales, round bales, feed, and hay around farms, ranches, acreages, feedlots, and hay storage areas.
Will this bale spear work on a tractor?
Yes, it can work on tractors with a universal skid steer quick attach loader mount. Always confirm your tractor has SSQA and enough lift capacity for the attachment and bale weight.
Is this only for skid steers?
No. While it uses a skid steer quick attach mount, it also works with compatible compact track loaders and tractors with SSQA mounting.
How many spears does the Series 3 have?
The Series 3 uses three spears. The outside spears are spaced 52″ apart on center, with one spear centered on the attachment.
Why choose the Series 3 over the Series 2?
The Series 3 gives you an extra center spear and wider outside spear spacing, which can provide more support for larger bales, especially large square bales.
What spear lengths are available?
The Series 3 is available with 39″, 43″, or 49″ spear options.
Which spear length should I choose?
The 39″ option works well for smaller or lighter bales, the 43″ option is a good all-around choice, and the 49″ option gives the most usable length for larger round or square bales.
Are the tines replaceable?
Yes. Stinger lists the Series 3 with replaceable double-nut tines, making it easier to service if a tine gets bent, damaged, or worn.
What is the safety step for?
The safety step gives the operator a better step point when getting in and out of the skid steer, track loader, or tractor.
What machines fit this bale spear?
It fits many skid steers, compact track loaders, and tractors with universal skid steer quick attach. Always verify your machine’s mount style before ordering.
