Will the Stinger Series 4 Bale Spear work on a tractor?

Yes. The Series 4 is available with tractor-friendly mount options, including John Deere 100-500 Series and Global Euro. It can also work with tractor loaders that use Universal Quick Attach.

What makes the Series 4 different from the Series 1, 2, and 3?

The Series 4 uses four spears instead of one, two, or three. That gives it more support across wider bales and makes it a better fit for large square bales or moving two round bales with the optional bale support.

Can this bale spear carry two round bales at once?

Yes, when equipped with the optional bolt-on bale support. This is one of the biggest reasons to choose the Series 4 if you are trying to cut down on trips while feeding or moving hay.

What bale types is the Series 4 best for?

It is best for large square bales, large round bales, and heavier hay handling jobs where more spear support is helpful.

What mount should I choose?

Choose Universal Quick Attach for most skid steers, compact track loaders, and SSQA tractor loaders. Choose John Deere 100-500 Series or Global Euro if your tractor loader uses one of those mount styles.

Are the spears replaceable?

Yes. The Series 4 uses replaceable double-nut tines, so a damaged or worn spear can be replaced without replacing the whole attachment.

What spear length should I pick?

Choose 39″ spears for smaller or lighter bales, 43″ spears for a good all-around setup, and 49″ spears for larger round or square bales where extra usable length helps.

Why does the back angle matter?

The 70-degree back angle helps keep the bale positioned toward the frame while lifting, carrying, and stacking, especially when working around barns, feed areas, or uneven ground.
