The Prime High Capacity Grapple Bucket is a heavy-duty skid steer attachment built for moving large volumes of material such as round bales, brush, logs, snow, and loose debris. Designed with a deep bucket and oversized grapple opening, this attachment allows operators to carry more material per load compared to standard rock grapples.
Often used in agriculture and high-volume material handling, this style of grapple combines the capacity of a bucket with the clamping power of a grapple, making it ideal for feeding operations, manure handling, and bulk cleanup work. With a massive 74 inch grapple opening and reinforced steel construction, it is built to handle demanding daily use.
What makes this different from a standard grapple bucket?
This is built for capacity first. It carries more material per load and handles bulk items like bales, snow, and silage much better than a typical grapple.
Can this handle round bales well?
Yes, that’s one of its main uses. The large opening and bucket depth make it ideal for grabbing and transporting round bales securely.
Is this good for dirt or digging work?
Not really. This is designed for carrying and handling material, not aggressive digging like a root or rock grapple.
Why is the grapple opening so large?
The 74″ opening allows you to grab large, bulky loads without fighting the attachment or losing material.
Will material fall out when carrying loose loads?
Less than open-bottom grapples. The bucket design helps contain material like feed, snow, or debris.
Do I need a large skid steer to run this?
Yes, this works best on mid to large machines due to its size and weight.
Is this just for agriculture?
No, it’s also commonly used for snow removal, construction cleanup, and moving bulk materials.
