Cardinal Canvas | Vinyl Mustang Skid Steer Cab Enclosure
Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Cardinal Canvas Vinyl Mustang Skid Steer Cab Enclosure is an easy way to make an open-cab Mustang more comfortable when the forecast turns ugly. Its vinyl-coated nylon shell helps cut wind, rain, and snow around the operator, while heavy 40-mil clear vinyl keeps the cab bright and visible instead of turning it into a black box.
Cardinal offers three Mustang enclosure configurations to cover different machine generations. The front door can be removed independently when you want more airflow, and the complete enclosure can come back off when cold-weather season is over. For the 2044 and 2054 in particular, be sure to check the manufacturing year before choosing an enclosure.

Which Cardinal enclosure fits my Mustang skid steer?
Use both the machine model and manufacturing year where shown below. Older Mustang machines generally use M1, while several later machines use M2 or M3.
What does Cardinal Model M1 fit?
M1 fits Mustang machines manufactured from 1988 through 2000. It also fits the 2044, 2054, and 2064 when manufactured before 2005.
Which machines use Model M2?
M2 fits the Mustang 2022, 2026, 2030, 2032, 3635, and 3935.
When do the Mustang 2044 and 2054 use Model M3?
The 2044 and 2054 use M3 when manufactured in 2006 or later.
What if my 2044 or 2054 was manufactured in 2005?
Contact us before ordering so we can help verify the correct enclosure. The listed M1 and M3 year ranges do not identify a 2005 fitment.
Is the door included with the enclosure?
Yes. The front door is part of the complete enclosure kit and can be removed separately when you want additional airflow.
Can I leave the rest of the enclosure installed with the door off?
Yes. That gives you the option of keeping side and rear protection while opening the front of the operator area.
Does this turn the machine into a sealed cab?
No. It is a flexible weather enclosure intended to help block wind and precipitation, not a sealed factory hard cab.
Are replacement doors available?
Yes. If you already have a Cardinal enclosure, replacement doors are available separately.
Note: Match both the Mustang model and manufacturing year where applicable before ordering.

Make an Older Mustang More Weather-Friendly
Many Mustang machines still earning their keep were built long before enclosed cabs became common. This enclosure adds useful wind and weather protection without requiring a major cab conversion.
Open It Up Without Taking Everything Off
When temperatures climb during the day, the removable front door lets you bring fresh air back into the cab while leaving the remaining enclosure in place.
Keep Important Sightlines Clear
Clear side, front, rear, and overhead panels help preserve visibility while surrounding the operator with flexible weather protection.
Choose by Generation, Not Guesswork
Mustang cab designs changed over the years, particularly on models such as the 2044 and 2054. The dedicated M1, M2, and M3 configurations let you match the enclosure more closely to the machine.
