Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Ideal Rockaway Skid Steer Screening Bucket is built for separating rocks, roots, sticks, and other debris from loose soil while keeping more usable material on the job site. Its perforated floor uses 3/4″ diamond-shaped screening holes that let dirt and smaller material sift through while holding back larger debris.
Use it on its own as a mechanical skid steer screening bucket, or pair it with an Ideal Rockaway Landscape Rake for even more versatility. Rockaway owners can unpin the standard bucket and install the screening bucket beneath the rake hood, then remove the hood when they want to use the bucket independently.
Features
- Standalone Screening Bucket: Can be used independently on a skid steer for general screening, cleanup, and material separation.
- Rockaway Landscape Rake Compatible: Designed to pair with the corresponding Ideal Rockaway rake hood for rock removal and soil conditioning.

Can I use the Rockaway Screening Bucket without a Rockaway Landscape Rake?
Yes. The Screening Bucket can be used independently as a skid steer screening bucket for separating rocks, roots, sticks, and other debris from loose soil. You do not need to own a Rockaway Landscape Rake to use it.
How does the Screening Bucket work with a Rockaway Landscape Rake?
The Screening Bucket can replace the standard solid bucket on the corresponding Rockaway Landscape Rake. It pins to the Rockaway hood so the rake can collect rocks and debris while allowing more loose soil to sift back onto the job site.
Can I switch between using the Rockaway rake and using the bucket by itself?
Yes. The Rockaway hood can be disconnected from the Screening Bucket, allowing the bucket to be used independently. This gives Rockaway owners two useful attachment configurations from the same screening bucket.
Does the Screening Bucket require auxiliary hydraulics?
No. The Screening Bucket itself is mechanical and has no hydraulic components or moving parts. Auxiliary hydraulics are only needed when it is being used as part of the hydraulic Rockaway Landscape Rake system.
What size material will the bucket screen?
The bucket uses 3/4″ × 3/4″ diamond-shaped openings designed to allow loose dirt and smaller material to pass through while retaining larger rocks and debris.
What is the advantage of the diamond-shaped screening holes?
The diamond shape allows more screening openings to be incorporated into the bucket while maintaining the strength of the surrounding steel. More open area helps loose soil sift through efficiently.
Which Rockaway model does each bucket fit?
The 74″ Screening Bucket is designed to pair with the 7415 Rockaway Landscape Rake, while the 84″ Screening Bucket pairs with the 8415 Rockaway.
Can I add a Screening Bucket to a Rockaway I already own?
Yes. The Screening Bucket can be purchased separately for an existing Rockaway, allowing you to swap out the solid bucket and add screening capability without replacing the entire rake.
Note: Compatibility depends on your machine’s quick-attach system, rated operating capacity, overall width, and the Screening Bucket size selected. The 74″ and 84″ Screening Buckets use a standard skid steer quick-attach connection. Always verify your machine’s specifications before ordering. The 74″ bucket is generally better suited to smaller and mid-size skid steers and compact track loaders, while the 84″ bucket is better matched to wider, larger machines.

Keep more usable soil on the job.
The screening floor lets loose soil fall back through instead of hauling it away with every load of rocks and debris.
Get more use from an existing Rockaway.
If you already own a Rockaway, the Screening Bucket adds another function to the attachment without requiring an entirely separate powered machine.
Keep operation simple.
With no hydraulics or moving parts of its own, the Screening Bucket is a straightforward tool for sorting and cleanup work.
