Maxx Attachments | Skid Steer Rollout Bucket
Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Maxx Attachments Rollout Bucket is built for loading material into high-sided trucks, trailers, hoppers, and other equipment where a standard bucket doesn’t provide enough dumping clearance. Its hydraulic rollout design allows operators to discharge material farther forward without relying entirely on the loader’s normal bucket-tilt movement. It’s especially useful for loading feed trucks at dairies, feeding tub grinders, and handling material at recycling centers and transfer stations.
Formerly part of the Dymax attachment line, the Rollout Bucket is available in three capacities ranging from 0.75 to 1.25 cu. yd. Its single, vertically mounted hydraulic cylinder provides controlled dumping motion while reducing the stress associated with some dual-cylinder rollout designs. Replaceable cutting edges, protective slide links, and a heavy-duty frame make it a practical attachment for demanding material-handling applications.

What is a rollout bucket used for?
A rollout bucket is designed for loading material into trucks, trailers, hoppers, and other containers that require additional dumping clearance. Common applications include loading feed trucks, supplying tub grinders, and handling material at recycling centers and transfer stations.
How is a rollout bucket different from a standard bucket?
A standard bucket dumps by rotating with the loader’s attachment plate. A rollout bucket has its own hydraulic dumping mechanism, allowing the bucket to roll forward independently. This provides additional dumping clearance without requiring the loader to rely entirely on its normal tilt movement.
What capacities are available?
The Maxx Attachments Rollout Bucket comes in three capacities: 0.75, 1.00, and 1.25 cu. yd. These are equivalent to approximately 20.25, 27, and 33.75 cu. ft., respectively.
How much does the bucket weigh?
The 0.75 cu. yd. model weighs approximately 925 lb., the 1.00 cu. yd. model weighs 1,100 lb., and the 1.25 cu. yd. model weighs 1,275 lb.
Does the rollout function require hydraulics?
Yes. The bucket uses a hydraulic cylinder to operate its independent dumping mechanism. The carrier must have compatible auxiliary hydraulics.
Can I use this bucket on a compact track loader?
Yes, provided the machine has the appropriate mounting system, auxiliary hydraulics, and sufficient lift capacity for the attachment and its intended load.
Can it be used on a wheel loader?
Yes. Maxx also designs rollout buckets for small wheel loaders. The mounting arrangement and machine capabilities should be confirmed before ordering.
What materials can the bucket handle?
Rollout buckets are commonly used for feed, agricultural materials, debris, and bulk materials handled at recycling centers and transfer stations. The appropriate bucket capacity depends on the material’s density and the carrier’s lifting capabilities.
Does the bucket have a replaceable cutting edge?
Yes. Maxx equips the Rollout Bucket with a replaceable bolt-on cutting edge, allowing the wear surface to be serviced without replacing the bucket.
What protects the hydraulic cylinder?
The bucket uses protective slide links to help prevent cylinder overextension. A hydraulic relief valve is also included.
Is this the same rollout bucket previously sold under Dymax?
Yes. The former Dymax attachment line is now sold and supported as Maxx Attachments.
Note: Because these buckets weigh between 925 and 1,275 lb. before material is added, machine compatibility should be checked against the exact bucket being ordered. The carrier needs compatible auxiliary hydraulics, the correct mounting system, and enough lift capacity and stability to safely handle the combined weight of the bucket and its contents.

The Maxx Attachments Rollout Bucket is covered by Maxx’s limited manufacturer warranty. Structural components are covered for 12 months, while moving and hydraulic components are covered for 6 months against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Normal wear items, including the cutting edge, are not covered for wear from regular operation.
Load Higher Without Constant Repositioning
The hydraulic rollout mechanism provides additional dumping clearance when loading high-sided trucks, trailers, hoppers, and other equipment.
Handle More Than One Type of Material
The bucket is suited to a variety of agricultural, industrial, and waste-handling applications, making it useful for operations that regularly work with different materials.
Reduce Wear on the Dumping Mechanism
The single center-mounted cylinder and protective slide links help manage dumping forces and protect the hydraulic system during repeated operation.
Keep Wear Parts Serviceable
Replaceable cutting edges and AR400 wear pads help extend the useful life of the attachment in abrasive working conditions.
