M&M Attachments | Hydra Clip 16" Tree Shear

• Cut Capacity: Up to 16″ trees in one cut
• Larger Tree Cutting: Possible with multiple cuts
• Cycle Time: 4 to 5 seconds open to close
• Hydraulic Pressure: 2,500 PSI minimum, 3,000 PSI recommended
• Recommended Machine: 2,500 lb ROC or larger
• Attachment Weight: Approximately 2,250 to 2,350 lbs depending on configuration

What size tree can it cut?

It can cut up to a 16″ tree in one cut. Larger trees can be handled with multiple cuts depending on the tree and machine.

Does it require high flow?

No. The Hydra-Clip does not require high flow. It relies more on hydraulic pressure, with 2,500 PSI minimum and 3,000 PSI recommended.

What size skid steer do I need?

M&M recommends a loader with at least 2,500 lbs of operating capacity. Larger skid steers and CTLs are usually the better fit because of the attachment weight and tree control.

Why choose the grapple version?

The grapple helps control the tree during the cut, then grab, bunch, stack, and move material after cutting.

Can it cut close to the ground?

Yes. The Hydra-Clip is designed for flush ground-level cutting, which is useful for pastures, trails, fence rows, and areas that need cleaned up after clearing.

What is the optional spray system for?

The optional spray system treats fresh-cut stumps to help reduce regrowth after cutting.

Is this good for fence lines and pastures?

Yes. It is a strong fit for fence rows, pastures, waterways, field edges, trails, and overgrown property.

Note: Best matched with larger skid steers and compact track loaders with 2,500 lb ROC or higher, proper hydraulic pressure, and enough counterweight for safe tree handling.

M&M Attachments are backed by a  limited manufacturer warranty   covering defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser.

• Structural components and hydraulic cylinders are typically covered for  1 year  under normal use
• Gearboxes and drive components are covered, with wear items (such as seals) considered maintenance after the initial period
• Warranty applies to properly operated and maintained equipment within recommended hydraulic and usage specifications

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or operation outside of rated capacities.

All warranty claims are handled through Echo Equipment, where you’ll work directly with our team to get issues resolved quickly without the runaround.

Cut and Grab in One Attachment

The included grapple lets operators cut trees, control the fall, bunch material, and move brush without switching attachments.

Flush Ground-Level Cutting

The Hydra-Clip is designed to cut close to the ground, leaving a cleaner finish for fence lines, pastures, trails, and mowing prep.

Fast Clearing Production

A 4 to 5 second open-to-close cycle time helps operators keep moving when clearing multiple trees, saplings, and brush lines.

No High Flow Required

The Hydra-Clip runs off hydraulic pressure instead of high-flow GPM, making it a practical fit for many larger standard-flow skid steers and CTLs.

• Land clearing contractors cutting, grabbing, bunching, and piling trees.
• Farmers and ranchers cleaning up fence lines, pastures, waterways, and field edges.
• Property owners clearing trails, hunting land, overgrown acreage, and wooded lots.
• Municipal and right-of-way crews maintaining roadsides, ditches, highlines, and utility paths.
