Replace factory glass on your Kubota SVL skid steer with a SHIELDS polycarbonate front windshield designed to match the form and fit of the original window. This 1/2″ windshield replaces Kubota OEM glass V0621-34520 and is available in clear or tinted polycarbonate for both standard SVL machines and the newer SVL75-3 and SVL97-3.
SHIELDS forms the windshield to the OEM shape, mills the edges and mounting areas where needed, and applies its proprietary SUPERCOAT™ to both sides for improved abrasion resistance. The windshield is prepared for glue-in installation and allows existing Kubota hardware to be reused where applicable.
Which Kubota SVL windshield do I need?
There are two versions in our current SHIELDS catalog. Most compatible Kubota SVL skid steers use the standard SVL windshield, while the SVL75-3 and SVL97-3 use the dedicated -3 version. Check the complete model designation on your machine before ordering.
What OEM glass number does this windshield replace?
This windshield replaces Kubota OEM glass number V0621-34520.
Does the windshield come with a gasket or seal?
No. The SHIELDS windshield does not include the gasket or door seal. It is designed to work with the existing OEM seal, which can be transferred to the new windshield if it is still serviceable. If you need a new seal, purchase the correct OEM replacement from a Kubota dealer.
I have an SVL75. How do I know which version to order?
Check the full model designation on your skid steer. An SVL75-3 requires the -3 windshield. Other compatible SVL75 configurations use the standard SVL version. Your model year can also help confirm fitment.
I have an SVL97. Is the SVL97-3 different from the SVL97-2?
Yes. The SVL97-3 uses the dedicated -3 SHIELDS windshield. The SVL97 and SVL97-2 are included with the standard SVL windshield family. Confirm the complete skid steer model before ordering.
What if I’m replacing factory polycarbonate instead of factory glass?
Let us know before ordering. SHIELDS specifically asks whether the existing windshield is factory glass, SHIELDS polycarbonate, or OEM polycarbonate. A photo of the existing windshield may be needed when replacing OEM polycarbonate so the fit can be confirmed.
Is this a complete Kubota skid steer door?
No. This is the replacement windshield panel, not a complete cab door. The Kubota door frame, handle, latch, and other door components are not included.
Can I use my factory windshield wiper?
Yes. SHIELDS applies SUPERCOAT™ to both sides of the windshield to improve abrasion resistance and allow windshield-wiper use. Keep both the windshield and wiper blade free of dirt, grit, sticks, and other abrasive debris.
Why are the edges of the 1/2″ windshield milled?
The skid steer was originally designed around thinner factory glass. SHIELDS mills the thicker polycarbonate where needed so it can maintain the proper fit in the original windshield opening and mounting areas.
How is the windshield installed?
The Kubota SVL windshield is prepared for glue-in installation. Follow SHIELDS’ installation instructions carefully, including the orientation of any milled or beveled areas.
Is the 1/2″ windshield a forestry-rated door?
No forestry certification should be assumed from thickness alone. SHIELDS recommends its thicker polycarbonate for demanding, high-debris applications, but a 1/2″ windshield is not automatically equivalent to a complete OEM forestry protection package. Follow Kubota’s and your attachment manufacturer’s cab-guarding requirements.
