The windshield is machined for the factory-style hardware and washer setup, giving you a stronger polycarbonate alternative without replacing the complete cab door.
Choose from 1/4″, 3/8″, or 1/2″ polycarbonate, with a 50% tint option available in 1/2″. SHIELDS applies SUPERCOAT™ to both sides for abrasion resistance, UV protection, and continued windshield-wiper use. What Bobcat glass does this windshield replace?
This windshield is designed to replace Bobcat OEM front door glass #7120401. Verify the OEM glass number and your machine configuration before ordering.
Can I upgrade the original glass windshield to polycarbonate?
Yes. This product is designed as a formed polycarbonate alternative to the factory glass while retaining the existing M Series door and supported mounting hardware.
What thicknesses are available?
The front windshield is available in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ polycarbonate.
Which thickness is available with tint?
Tint is available in the 1/2″ windshield.
How dark is the tint?
SHIELDS specifies the tinted material at 50% light transmission.
Can I continue using the windshield wiper?
Yes. SUPERCOAT™ is applied to both sides of the polycarbonate to provide abrasion resistance for normal cleaning and windshield-wiper use.
What is the third hole at the bottom of the windshield for?
The M Series windshield has a lower hole associated with the washer-fluid configuration. SHIELDS supplies a plug for that hole when washer fluid is routed from the top of the door. The plug can be removed when the lower hole is needed.
What if my windshield only has two holes at the bottom?
Do not order the standard configuration without verifying it first. SHIELDS asks customers replacing the two-hole version to provide a photo so the correct windshield can be supplied.
What if I currently have a 3/4″ laminated windshield?
The 3/4″ laminated configuration also requires verification before ordering. It should not be treated as the same standard glass replacement.
Why do I need to be especially careful with a T550 or T770?
Some T550 and T770 machines use the earlier G Series windshield instead of this M Series windshield. Verify the OEM glass number or existing windshield configuration before ordering.
Are side windows available too?
Yes. SHIELDS offers 3/8″ clear polycarbonate side windows for compatible M Series machines. You can order the left side, right side, or both.
How are the SHIELDS side windows different from the original glass?
Each SHIELDS side window uses a one-piece polycarbonate panel to replace the factory three-piece glass side assembly.
What comes with the side windows?
The side-window kit includes the rubber seal kit, spacer, and screws required for installation.
Are the side windows tinted?
No. SHIELDS currently lists the M Series side windows in 3/8″ clear polycarbonate.
Is this windshield ballistic-rated or certified for operator protection?
No. SHIELDS does not assign a ballistic rating to these products or warrant them as meeting a particular safety code or bodily-protection requirement.
Note: Front windshield compatibility is based on Bobcat OEM glass #7120401 and should be verified by OEM glass number, machine serial number, door configuration, and existing windshield configuration. Some T550 and T770 machines use a G Series windshield instead. The two-hole and 3/4″ laminated configurations require additional verification before ordering. A model appearing below does not guarantee compatibility with every serial number or configuration.

SHIELDS provides a limited manufacturer warranty covering qualifying manufacturing defects. Defective parts must be returned to SHIELDS within seven days of receipt and before installation or use under the manufacturer’s written terms.
