The SHIELDS XCMG polycarbonate windshield replaces the factory front glass on XC7-TV12 and XC7-SC12 skid loaders using OEM glass #401009500. It is formed to match the original windshield, with the edges and mounting holes machined for an OEM-style fit and glue-in installation.

Choose from 1/4″, 3/8″, or 1/2″ clear polycarbonate, with a 1/2″ tinted option also available. SUPERCOAT™ is applied to both sides for abrasion resistance, UV protection, and windshield wiper use, while the fritted edge prepares the windshield for a factory-style adhesive installation.

This windshield is designed for XCMG XC7-TV12 and XC7-SC12 skid loaders using OEM glass #401009500.

How is this windshield installed?

This is a glue-in replacement designed to install similarly to the original glass windshield. SHIELDS Caulk is available as an add-on for installation.

What thicknesses are available?

The windshield is available in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ clear polycarbonate.

Is a tinted windshield available?

Yes. Tint is available in 1/2″ polycarbonate and has 50% light transmission. The tint is built into the material rather than applied as a film.

Can I use the factory windshield wiper?

Yes. SUPERCOAT™ is designed for abrasion resistance while allowing normal windshield wiper use.

Do I need additional mounting hardware?

No additional hardware is required for the correct application. The windshield is formed and machined to match the OEM glass design.

Can I apply aftermarket tint film?

SHIELDS does not recommend aftermarket tint film because SUPERCOAT™ resists adhesives, which can cause films and decals to peel.

Is the 1/2″ windshield forestry or ballistic rated?

No. Thickness alone does not establish a forestry or ballistic rating. Confirm the protection requirements for your application before use.
