The SHIELDS CAT B Series Polycarbonate Skid Steer Windshield is a three-piece replacement for CAT glass #223-0609, #223-0612, and #223-0610. Designed for supported CAT B Series machines, the formed polycarbonate panels replace the original three-piece glass windshield while maintaining the factory windshield shape and fit.
Available in 3/8″ and 1/2″ polycarbonate, with a 50% tint option in 1/2″, each panel is coated on both sides with SUPERCOAT for abrasion resistance, UV protection, and continued windshield-wiper use. A tube of silicone is included for joining the three windshield panels, and SHIELDS Caulk can be added for bonding the completed windshield assembly into the cab frame.
What CAT glass does this windshield replace?
This three-piece windshield replaces CAT glass #223-0609 in the center, #223-0612 on the left, and #223-0610 on the right.
Does this replace the factory CAT polycarbonate windshield?
No. This product replaces the three-piece glass windshield. It does not replace OEM polycarbonate #316-1698.
How can I confirm this is the correct windshield for my machine?
Confirm that your machine currently uses the three-piece glass windshield and verify glass #223-0609, #223-0612, and #223-0610 when possible. If your machine has OEM polycarbonate #316-1698, this is not the correct replacement.
What thicknesses are available?
This windshield is available in 3/8″ and 1/2″ polycarbonate.
Is tint available?

Is the tint an applied film?
No. The polycarbonate material itself is tinted rather than using an applied film.
Can I continue using my windshield wiper?

How much SHIELDS Caulk is needed?
SHIELDS says most windows require one tube. The tube fits a standard caulking gun.
Is this windshield ballistic-rated or certified for operator protection?
No. This windshield does not carry a ballistic rating or a guarantee of bodily protection for a particular application.
