The SHIELDS Volvo EC polycarbonate excavator windshield replaces the upper or lower factory cab glass on Volvo EC Series C, D, and E excavators in the 140–150 range. Order the upper windshield, lower windshield, or a complete upper + lower set depending on what needs to be replaced. Each piece is manufactured for an OEM-style fit using the existing hardware.
Available in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ clear polycarbonate, with a 1/2″ tinted option also available, each windshield is coated on both sides with SUPERCOAT™ for abrasion resistance, UV protection, and continued windshield wiper use.

How do I choose between the upper and lower windshield?
Choose the Upper Windshield if you are replacing OEM glass #15108848. Choose the Lower Windshield if you are replacing OEM glass #11205358.
Can I order both windshield sections together?
Yes. Choose the Upper + Lower Windshield Set to order both pieces in the same thickness and tint configuration.
What thicknesses are available?
Both upper and lower windshields are available in 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ clear polycarbonate.
Is a tinted windshield available?
Yes. A 1/2″ tinted option is available for both the upper and lower windshield. The tinted material has 50% light transmission.
Can I reuse the original mounting hardware?
Yes. SHIELDS manufactures the replacement around the OEM glass design so the existing hardware can be reused with the available thicknesses.
Can I use the windshield wiper?
Yes. SUPERCOAT™ is designed for abrasion resistance while allowing normal windshield wiper use.
Can I apply aftermarket tint film?
SHIELDS does not recommend aftermarket tint film because SUPERCOAT™ resists adhesives, which can cause films and decals to peel.
Is the 1/2″ windshield forestry or ballistic rated?
No. Thickness alone does not establish a forestry or ballistic rating. Confirm the protection requirements for your machine and application before use.
SHIELDS currently lists the clear upper and lower options at up to 10 business days and the tinted options at up to 25 business days.
Note: Fitment should be confirmed by OEM glass number, not model family alone. The upper windshield replaces glass #15108848, and the lower windshield replaces glass #11205358. Both pieces can also be ordered together as a complete set.
