TM Manufacturing | Pro 2 Skid Steer Log Splitter
The TM Manufacturing Pro 2 Skid Steer Log Splitter is built for operators who want a faster, higher-output way to split firewood with a skid steer or compact track loader. Instead of wrestling big rounds onto a standalone splitter, the Pro 2 lets the machine do the lifting, positioning, and splitting from the cab.
The Pro 2 is TM Manufacturing’s high-production splitter with a patented interchangeable wedge system. Operators can switch between single split, 4-way, and 6-way wedge setups without tools, making it easier to match the wedge to the wood size, species, and finished firewood goal. It is available in 24″, 30″, and 36″ stroke models, with the 24″ model using a 4″ cylinder and the 30″ and 36″ models using 4.5″ or 5″ cylinder options.

What makes the Pro 2 different from a basic skid steer splitter?
The big difference is the interchangeable wedge system. The Pro 2 can use single, 4-way, or 6-way wedges, so you can change the split pattern based on the wood instead of being stuck with one wedge.
Can I change wedges without tools?
Yes. TM’s Pro 2 uses a patented tool-free wedge system for switching between wedge styles.
Which stroke length should I choose?
Choose the 24″ model for shorter firewood and faster cycling. Choose the 30″ model for a strong all-around setup. Choose the 36″ model if you regularly split longer material or oversized rounds.
What cylinder should I choose?
The 24″ model uses a 4″ cylinder. The 30″ and 36″ models are available with 4.5″ or 5″ cylinders. The larger cylinder gives more force, while smaller setups can cycle faster depending on machine hydraulics.
Does this require high flow?
No specific high-flow requirement is needed for most buyers, but performance depends on your machine’s hydraulic flow and pressure. More flow generally improves cycle speed, while pressure affects splitting force.
Can it handle commercial firewood work?
Yes. The Pro 2 is the better TM option when production speed, wedge options, and repeated splitting matter.
Is a 6-way wedge always better?
No. A 6-way wedge is great for straight, consistent rounds. A single or 4-way wedge is usually better for knotty, oversized, twisted, or harder wood.
Will it fit my skid steer or CTL?
It fits machines with universal skid steer quick attach and the correct auxiliary hydraulic hookup. Machine size, hydraulic flow, pressure, and lift capacity should still be confirmed before ordering.
Note: Best matched with skid steers and compact track loaders with universal skid steer quick attach, auxiliary hydraulics, enough lift capacity, and enough hydraulic flow for good cycle speed.

Split More Wood From the Cab
Use the skid steer to lift, position, and split heavy rounds instead of handling every piece by hand.
Tool-Free Wedge Changes
The Pro 2 uses TM’s patented interchangeable wedge system, so operators can switch between single, 4-way, and 6-way wedges without tools.
Multiple Stroke Options
Choose 24″, 30″, or 36″ stroke lengths to match the log size, firewood length, and type of work you do most often.
Built for Production Splitting
The Pro 2 is made for faster firewood processing, commercial use, farm work, acreage cleanup, and operators who split often enough to justify a skid steer attachment.
- Firewood businesses wanting faster splitting without a standalone processor.
- Farmers and ranchers splitting wood, cleaning up timber, and processing storm-damaged trees.
- Acreage owners handling firewood, hunting land, wooded property, and seasonal cleanup.
- Tree service and cleanup crews processing large rounds after removals or storm work.
