The Stinger CG Clam Grapple is built for handling large volumes of brush, logs, and debris in one grab. Instead of working through piles piece by piece, the clamshell design lets you scoop, clamp, and move material quickly and efficiently.

With dual horizontal jaws that open wide and clamp hard, this grapple is made for operators who want to move more material in less time. Whether you are cleaning up storm debris, clearing land, or handling bulky loads, this is a faster way to get through the job.

If you are tired of chasing piles around with a standard grapple, this is where things speed up.

Features

  • Dual independent clamshell jaws with up to 46 inch opening grab large volumes in one cycle
  • Horizontal jaw design allows scooping and clamping instead of just pinching material
  • 3/8 inch AR200 steel construction provides durability without excessive weight
  • Two 3000 PSI hydraulic cylinders deliver strong and even clamping force
  • 9 inch tine spacing handles bulky debris while keeping structure strong
  • Enclosed back design helps contain loose material during transport
  • 1 inch greaseable pivot shaft improves longevity and smooth operation
  • Structural tube reinforcement adds strength across the frame
  • Available in multiple mounts including skid steer, tractor, and JD setups
  • Width Options 66″, 75″ and 84″

What makes a clam grapple different from a root or rock grapple

A clam grapple is designed for volume. It grabs entire piles instead of separating material or picking through it.

Why would I choose this over a rock or brush grapple

If your goal is speed and moving large amounts of material, this is much faster. Rock grapples are better for separating dirt.

What kind of material is this best for

Brush, logs, storm debris, demolition material, and bulky loose material.

Can it pick up smaller material

Not as well as tighter tine grapples. This is built for bulk handling, not fine cleanup.

How strong is the clamping force

Very strong. The dual 3000 PSI cylinders provide even pressure across the entire load.

Does the enclosed back make a difference

Yes. It helps keep loose material from spilling out while transporting.

What size machine do I need

Mid-size to large skid steers or tractors in the 50 to 100 HP range work best.

What is the biggest mistake people make with clam grapples

Using them when they need separation. This is a bulk handling tool, not a sorting tool.
