The Stinger Attachments Severe Duty Wheel Loader Clam Grapple is built for land clearing, logging, demolition, storm cleanup, and other high-volume jobs where large, irregular material is the norm. A 60″ opening and two independently moving grapples let the operator clamp around logs, stumps, brush, scrap, and bulky debris with better control across uneven loads.
Built with AR200 steel and 3/4″ Grade 80 tines, the grapple combines an enclosed back, 10.5″ tine spacing, greaseable pivot shaft, and powerful hydraulic cylinders for demanding wheel loader work. It is available in 96″ and 107″ widths with heavy-duty wheel loader mounting for commercial and high-use applications.
Features

What is the Severe Duty Wheel Loader Clam Grapple built for?
It is designed for high-volume wheel loader work such as land clearing, logging support, demolition, storm cleanup, recycling, and handling large or irregular debris.
Do the two grapples move independently?
Yes. The two grapple sections move independently, allowing one side to close farther than the other when handling crooked logs, root balls, brush piles, and other uneven loads.
What sizes are available?
The Severe Duty Clam Grapple is available in 96″ and 107″ widths.
How wide does the grapple open?
The grapple has a 60″ opening, giving it room to close around large logs, stumps, brush, and bulky debris.
Why are the tines spaced 10.5″ apart?
The spacing helps the grapple retain larger material while allowing loose dirt and smaller debris to fall through instead of carrying unnecessary material with the load.
Does this grapple require auxiliary hydraulics?
Yes. Auxiliary hydraulics are required to operate the grapple cylinders.
What mount does it use?
This severe-duty version uses a heavy-duty wheel loader mounting configuration with Construction ISO carrier compatibility. The exact mount and hydraulic couplers should be verified for your specific wheel loader before ordering.
Can it handle logs and stumps?
Yes. Logs, stumps, root balls, brush, storm debris, and other irregular material are among the primary applications for this grapple. Always stay within the wheel loader manufacturer’s lifting and operating limits.
Can it be used for demolition or recycling work?
Yes. The heavy tine construction and independent grapples also make it useful for moving demolition debris, scrap, wood waste, and other bulky material.
How do I choose between the 96″ and 107″ sizes?
Choose based on your wheel loader’s width, lifting capacity, coupler, hydraulic setup, operating weight, and the type of material you handle. The 107″ version gives you additional working width but also adds attachment weight.
Note: Compatibility depends on your wheel loader’s coupler, hydraulic connections, lift capacity, operating weight, ballast, and the grapple size selected. The Severe Duty Clam Grapple is offered with adaptable wheel loader mounting and multiple hydraulic coupler options. Always verify your exact machine, coupler, and hydraulic setup before ordering.
