The Stinger RG Skid Steer Rock Grapple combines the sifting capabilities of a rock bucket with the holding power of dual hydraulic grapples. Its contoured steel tines allow loose soil to fall through while retaining rocks, roots, brush, and other debris. Whether you’re clearing a field, preparing a construction site, or cleaning up a property, the RG makes collecting and moving material easier.
Built for demanding work, the RG features a reinforced steel frame, one-piece contoured tines, and a serrated cutting edge. Two independently operating hydraulic grapples help secure uneven loads, while the 48-inch grapple opening provides room for bulky material. Available in six widths, with standard or XD tines and optional bolt-on sides.

What is the difference between Standard and XD tines?
Standard tines are 3/8″ thick, while XD tines are 1/2″ thick. The XD configuration provides additional tine thickness for more demanding applications.
Which sizes are available with Standard tines?
The 60″, 66″, and 72″ models are available with Standard or XD tines. The 78″, 84″, and 88″ models are available in XD only.
Can the RG rock grapple separate rocks from soil?
Yes. The spaced tines allow loose soil and smaller material to fall through while retaining larger rocks and debris.
Do the grapple arms operate independently?
Yes. The two hydraulic grapples can adjust independently to accommodate uneven loads.
What is the grapple opening?
The RG features a 48″ grapple opening.
Can I add bolt-on sides?
Yes. Bolt-on sides are available as a $150 option.
Does the grapple require auxiliary hydraulics?
Yes. The grapple uses your skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulic system to operate its clamping arms.
What hydraulic connections are included?
The attachment includes 1/2″ flat-face hydraulic couplers.
Will this grapple fit my skid steer?
The RG uses a universal skid steer quick-attach mounting plate. Verify your machine’s mounting interface, hydraulic connections, and lifting capacity before ordering.
Can I use it for brush and root removal?
Yes. The RG is suitable for collecting rocks, roots, brush, and other debris during property cleanup and land clearing.
Note: Compatibility depends on the machine’s quick-attach interface, auxiliary hydraulics, operating pressure, and rated operating capacity. Attachment size and weight should be matched to the carrier’s lifting capabilities.
