The M&M Hydra-Saw is built for skid steer and compact track loader operators who want fast tree cutting, flush ground-level cuts, limb cutting ability, and stump treatment in one attachment. Instead of using shear jaws, the Hydra-Saw uses a disc saw setup with replaceable carbide teeth to cut through trees quickly and cleanly.
The Hydra-Saw is available in two models: the TS42 and the TS30. The TS42 is the larger, high-flow model with a 30" cutting capacity and 10-gallon spray tank. The TS30 is the lighter, more compact model with a 22" cutting capacity and 7-gallon spray tank. Both models are built for tree removal, fence line clearing, pasture cleanup, trail maintenance, right-of-way work, and land management jobs where speed and clean cutting matter.
What is the difference between the TS42 and TS30 Hydra-Saw?
The TS42 is the larger model. It weighs 1,750 lbs, requires 30 to 45 GPM, and cuts up to 30″ without repositioning. The TS30 weighs 1,000 lbs, has lower flow options, and cuts up to 22″ without repositioning.
Which Hydra-Saw model should I choose?
Choose the TS42 if you have a larger high-flow machine and need maximum cutting capacity. Choose the TS30 if you want a lighter saw with strong cutting capacity for smaller machines or tighter clearing jobs.
What hydraulic flow does the TS42 need?
The TS42 needs 30 to 45 GPM and runs at 400 RPM at 37 GPM.
What hydraulic flow does the TS30 need?
The TS30 is available with 17 to 23 GPM or 23 to 35 GPM flow options, and runs at 400 RPM at 23 GPM.
How big of a tree can the Hydra-Saw cut?
The TS42 can cut up to 30″ without repositioning. The TS30 can cut up to 22″ without repositioning.
Is the Hydra-Saw spray tank included?
Yes. The TS42 has a 10-gallon spray tank, and the TS30 has a 7-gallon spray tank for stump treatment.
Is this better than a tree shear?
Choose the Hydra-Saw if you want saw-style cutting, higher cutting capacity, and clean stump cuts. Choose a shear if you prefer a simpler pinch-cut attachment for smaller trees or grapple control.
What size machine should run it?
The TS42 should be matched with larger high-flow skid steers or compact track loaders. The TS30 is lighter and can fit more machines, but still needs the right hydraulic flow, lift capacity, and machine weight.
Note: Match the model to your machine’s hydraulic flow, lift capacity, and operating weight. The TS42 is best for larger high-flow skid steers and CTLs. The TS30 fits a wider range of machines with proper flow and capacity.
