Wallenstein | WX210B Mini Skid Steer Log Splitter
Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Wallenstein WX210 Series brings 20 tons of splitting force to a mini skid steer, letting the operator grab, position, and split logs without repeatedly lifting rounds onto a traditional splitter bed. Its inverted horizontal design keeps the splitting work out in front of the machine, while the wide wedge helps open the block earlier in the split.
Both models use a 24″ split opening, 4″ hydraulic cylinder, 9″ wedge, and include hydraulic hoses and couplers. The difference is the mounting system: the WX210 uses Wallenstein’s standard mini skid steer mounting plate, while the WX210B is built specifically for the Bobcat mini skid steer mount.
Features
- 20-Ton Split Force: Delivers 20 tons of hydraulic splitting force for everyday firewood production.
- Inverted Horizontal Design: Lets the machine pick up and split logs without manually loading each round onto a splitter bed.
- 24″ Split Opening: Handles logs up to 24″ long.
- Wide Wedge: Designed to open the wood earlier in the splitting stroke.
- Block Stripper Plates: Help release wood that remains caught on the wedge during the return stroke.

What is the difference between the WX210 and WX210B?
The splitter itself uses the same 20-ton splitting system. The primary difference is the mounting plate. The WX210 is designed for the standard mini skid steer mounting interface and excludes Bobcat, while the WX210B uses Wallenstein’s Bobcat mini skid steer mounting plate.
How much splitting force does the WX210 provide?
Both the WX210 and WX210B provide 20 tons of split force.
What size logs can it handle?
The splitter has a 24″ opening for logs up to 24″ long.
How does an inverted log splitter work?
Instead of manually lifting a log onto a stationary splitting bed, the splitter mounts to the loader and is positioned over the log. The operator can grab, lift, position, and split the round using the mini skid steer’s loader and hydraulic controls.
What hydraulic flow does Wallenstein recommend?
Wallenstein currently lists 10 GPM as the recommended hydraulic flow. Cycle speed depends on the hydraulic flow supplied by the machine.
How fast is the splitter cycle?
Wallenstein publishes an average cycle time of 6.62 seconds and a full cycle time of 13.24 seconds. Actual cycle time depends on hydraulic flow from the mini skid steer.
Are hydraulic hoses and couplers included?
Yes. Wallenstein includes hydraulic hoses and couplers with both models.
Does the splitter have stripper plates?
Yes. Block stripper plates help remove wood that remains caught on the wedge as it retracts.
Is a 4-way wedge available?
Yes. Wallenstein offers the W4120 4-Way Wedge as an optional accessory.
What colors are available?
Wallenstein currently offers Black, Blue, Orange, Red, Yellow, Grey, Green, and Realtree APX Camo.
Note: Compatibility depends on both the mini skid steer mounting interface and the machine’s auxiliary hydraulic system. Wallenstein lists 10 GPM recommended hydraulic flow. Verify mount, hydraulic flow and pressure, couplers, machine capacity, and configuration before ordering.

Split Without Manually Lifting Every Round
The inverted configuration lets the loader handle the log, reducing the repeated lifting associated with conventional ground-level log splitters.
Grab, Position, and Split
Because the splitter is mounted to the machine, the operator can move rounds, reposition difficult pieces, and place split wood where it’s needed.
Compact Equipment, Serious Splitting Force
Twenty tons of splitting force brings useful firewood-processing capability to a mini skid steer rather than requiring a larger skid steer or self-contained splitter.
Choose the Correct Mini Skid Steer Mount
The WX210 and WX210B give operators separate mounting solutions for standard mini skid steer interfaces and Bobcat mini loaders.
- Firewood processing
- Woodlot maintenance
- Rural properties
- Tree-care operations
- Landscaping businesses
- Storm cleanup
- Property maintenance
- Mini skid steers
- Mini track loaders
