TM Manufacturing | Excavator Log Splitters
The TM Manufacturing Excavator Log Splitter is built for operators who want to split wood with the reach, placement, and control of an excavator. It is made for tree service cleanup, firewood processing, land clearing, farm cleanup, outdoor boiler wood, storm damage, and large rounds that are easier to split where they sit.
This page is set up around a 30″ stroke with a single wedge as the standard listed configuration. The excavator mount is included and built to your machine information. Choose the TM splitter level that fits your work: Warrior, Heavy Duty, Pro 1, or Pro 2. Other stroke lengths, 4-way wedges, the Pro 2 6-way wedge, and regen valve upgrades are available by request. Call to quote anything outside the standard 30″ single wedge setup.
Features
- Excavator-Mounted Design: Built for reach, control, and better placement when splitting logs on piles, slopes, and cleanup sites.
- 30″ Stroke Standard: The base listed package uses the 30″ stroke because it is the best all-around size for most firewood and cleanup work.
- Single Wedge Base Setup: Better for ugly, knotty, twisted, oversized, or inconsistent wood.
- Other Strokes Available: Need a different stroke length? Call for 24″ or 36″ options depending on the splitter model.
- 4-Way Wedge Available: Call to quote a 4-way wedge setup for cleaner rounds and faster firewood production.
- Pro 2 6-Way Available: Call to quote the Pro 2 with a 6-way wedge or interchangeable wedge package.
- Included Excavator Mount: Built to your machine information and included with the splitter package.
- Optional Regen Valve: Speed upgrade available for customers who want faster cycle times.
- Cylinder Options: Warrior uses a 4″ cylinder. Heavy Duty, Pro 1, and Pro 2 are normally set up around the 4.5″ cylinder, with a 5″ cylinder available by request.

What comes standard on this page?
This page is priced around a 30″ stroke excavator log splitter with a single wedge and excavator mount included.
Is the excavator mount included?
Yes. The excavator mount is included and built to match your machine information.
Can I get a different stroke length?
Yes. This page is based on the 30″ stroke setup, but other stroke lengths are available by request. Call for 24″ or 36″ options depending on the splitter model.
Can I get a 4-way wedge?
Yes. Call to quote a 4-way wedge setup. The single wedge is the standard listed configuration.
Can I get a 6-way wedge?
Yes, but that is a Pro 2 setup. Call to quote the Pro 2 with a 6-way wedge or interchangeable wedge package.
Which model should I choose?
Choose the Warrior for lighter firewood and smaller pieces. Choose the Heavy Duty for a simple heavy splitter. Choose the Pro 1 if you want the viewing window. Choose the Pro 2 if you want the interchangeable wedge system or 6-way option.
What is the difference between Pro 1 and Pro 2?
The Pro 1 has the Pro Series frame and viewing window, but does not have the interchangeable wedge system. The Pro 2 adds interchangeable wedge options, including single, 4-way, 6-way, and custom heads.
How much tonnage does it have?
The Warrior’s 4″ cylinder is roughly 20 to 25 tons depending on pressure. The 4.5″ cylinder used on the heavier models is roughly 25 to 30 tons. The 5″ cylinder is roughly 30 to 35 tons.
Should I get the 4.5″ or 5″ cylinder?
Most customers should choose the 4.5″ cylinder. It has plenty of force and keeps cycle speed better. The 5″ cylinder adds force, but it slows the cycle down.
What does the regen valve do?
The regen valve is a speed upgrade that helps the splitter cycle faster. It is a good option for customers splitting a lot of wood.
What information is needed to order?
You will need your excavator make, model, pin size, stick width, pin center measurement, coupler style, hydraulic flow, hydraulic pressure, and coupler size.
Note: Final fitment depends on machine weight, lift capacity, auxiliary flow, hydraulic pressure, coupler style, pin dimensions, and the splitter model selected. The included mount is built to match the excavator information provided.
