Estimated shipping only — your final shipping cost is confirmed at checkout.
The Stout Cyclone Skid Steer Material Spreader turns your skid steer into a simple, self-loading solution for spreading sand, salt, fertilizer, and other compatible granular material. Its scoop-style bucket design lets you load directly from a pile, then broadcast material without needing a separate loading machine.
With an 18.3 cu. ft. capacity, 16″ broadcast wheel, and adjustable working spread of approximately 5′ to 20′, the Cyclone is built for parking lots, driveways, farms, commercial properties, and other large areas. It runs on standard-flow auxiliary hydraulics from 15–24 GPM and mounts to machines using the universal skid steer quick attach system.

What materials can the Stout Cyclone spread?
The Cyclone is designed for compatible granular materials such as sand, salt, and fertilizer. Material condition and consistency can affect how evenly it feeds and spreads.
Can the Cyclone load itself?
Yes. The scoop-style design allows the operator to drive into a material pile and load the spreader using the skid steer, reducing the need for a second machine.
How wide does it spread material?
The Cyclone has an approximate spreading range of 5′ to 20′, giving the operator flexibility for both narrower paths and larger areas.
How much material does it hold?
The hopper has an 18.3 Cu. Ft. capacity.
What hydraulic flow does it require?
Stout specifies an operating range of 15–24 GPM. Always verify your skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulic flow before ordering.
Can I use it on a high-flow skid steer?
Potentially, yes, if the machine can operate the attachment through a standard-flow circuit within the Cyclone’s 15–24 GPM requirement. Do not assume that a high-flow setting is appropriate simply because the machine offers one.
Does it require electrical controls?
No separate electrical control requirement is listed by Stout. The spreader operates from the skid steer’s auxiliary hydraulic system.
What hydraulic couplers are included?
The Cyclone is equipped with 1/2″ flat-face hydraulic couplers.
What mount does it use?
It uses a universal skid steer quick attach mount built to J2513 specifications.
How much does the attachment weigh?
The Cyclone weighs approximately 775 Lbs. before material is added.
Can it be used for winter snow and ice management?
Yes. Spreading sand and salt across parking lots, driveways, lanes, and commercial properties is one of the Cyclone’s primary applications.
Note: Compatibility depends on your machine’s universal skid steer quick attach, auxiliary hydraulic flow, hydraulic couplers, lift capacity, and specific year/configuration. The Cyclone requires approximately 15–24 GPM. Machines with high-flow hydraulics may still be suitable when operated through an appropriate standard-flow circuit. Always verify your machine’s specifications before ordering. A model appearing below does not guarantee compatibility with every configuration.

Load and spread with one machine.
The bucket-style design lets you scoop material directly from the pile and move immediately into spreading, cutting out an extra loading step.
Cover anything from lanes to large lots.
A spreading range of approximately 5′ to 20′ gives you room to adjust the working pattern for different properties and applications.
Run it on common skid steer hydraulics.
The 15–24 GPM operating range makes the Cyclone a practical match for a wide range of standard-flow skid steers and compact track loaders.
Keep service points accessible.
Removable covers provide access to the motors and bearing, while the hose keeper helps protect hydraulic lines during operation.
