Product Overview
Description
The Eterra Mini Skid Steer Sickle Mower is built for operators who need reach, control, and clean cutting in places a standard mower can’t touch. Designed off Eterra’s proven skid steer model, this attachment allows you to cut vertically, reach out to the side, and maintain areas like hedges, roadsides, fence lines, and ditch banks without constantly repositioning your machine.
Instead of relying on high-speed blades, the sickle bar uses a scissor-style cutting action that delivers a clean cut with minimal debris. That makes it ideal for trimming along roads, buildings, and other sensitive areas where control matters. Whether you’re maintaining overgrowth along a property edge or keeping roadside vegetation in check, this is a precise, purpose-built solution for jobs that rotary mowers struggle with.
Built on a design that’s already proven in the skid steer market, this mini version brings that same capability to smaller machines without sacrificing performance or usability.

FAQs
What is this mower designed for?
This is built for reach and precision work like hedges, roadsides, fence lines, and ditch banks where you need to cut vertically or off to the side.
How is the multi-function controlled?
Pricing includes what Eterra calls a 'standard switch control', which you will have to run back to your machine and plug into 12V electrical. This allows for the flow to be diverted from the sickle motor function, to the tilt function.
Can this cut vertically?
Yes. The sickle bar design allows for vertical and angled cutting, making it ideal for trimming hedges and roadside growth.
What size material can it handle?
This mower is designed for grass, weeds, and light brush up to about 2" in diameter.
Does it throw debris like a brush cutter?
No. The scissor-style cutting action produces very little debris, making it safer for roadside and property maintenance work.
What hydraulic flow do I need?
This unit runs between 9–20 GPM, making it compatible with most mini skid steers. Less than 9 GPM will likely still operate fine if allowing for slower ground speeds, but SPM (Strokes Per Minute) will be out of optimal range.
