Product Overview
Description
Formerly known as the Mix N' Go Series - the newly named Eterra BMX Hurricane Concrete Mixer series allows operators to mix, transport, and pour concrete directly from their skid steer. Instead of hauling a separate tow-behind mixer, contractors can load material into the bucket, mix it on the machine, and dispense concrete exactly where it is needed on the jobsite.
Available in three capacity options - BMX-250, BMX-450, and BMX-600 - the BMX Hurricane lineup provides the flexibility to handle everything from small repair work to larger concrete pours. Built with heavy-duty steel construction, Hardox mixing paddles, and an enclosed drive system, these mixers are designed for reliable performance in demanding jobsite conditions.
Whether you're installing fence posts, pouring footings, or completing landscaping and construction work, the Eterra BMX Hurricane mixers provide a fast and efficient way to mix concrete on-site.
Features
- Mix, transport, and pour concrete in one attachment to eliminate extra equipment
- Heavy-duty auger system ensures consistent mixing with less clumping
- Integrated bag cutter speeds up loading and reduces manual work
- Multiple discharge options allow controlled and accurate concrete placement
- Durable drive system built for long-term use and minimal maintenance
- Replaceable mixing paddles improve wear life in abrasive materials
Benefits
Mix Concrete Directly on the Jobsite
Load materials, mix them, and pour concrete exactly where it is needed without transporting a separate mixer.
Improves Jobsite Efficiency
Combine mixing, transport, and pouring into one attachment to reduce equipment and setup time.
Reduces Labor Requirements
One operator can mix and place concrete using a skid steer instead of multiple workers handling bags and wheelbarrows.
Consistent Mixing Performance
Heavy-duty mixing paddles ensure concrete, mortar, and grout are blended evenly.

FAQs
Can I replace a concrete truck with this?
For many jobs, yes. This allows you to mix on-site, reduce waste, and avoid short load fees - especially for smaller or remote jobs.
Do I need high flow hydraulics?
No - this runs on standard flow (11–22 GPM), making it compatible with most skid steers.
Can I load material directly into the mixer?
Yes - the built-in bag splitter and loading grate allows you to dump bags or scoop material directly into the drum.
How does the discharge work?
You have three options:
- hydraulic center chute (controlled from cab)
- manual side chute
- full front dump
This gives you precise control when pouring.
What kind of jobs is this best for?
- remote job sites
- projects where concrete trucks aren’t practical
- fence posts
- footings
- sidewalks and small slabs
- repair work
Will it mix consistently or just spin material?
This is a true mixer - the paddle design and reversible drive ensure consistent mixing, not just agitation.
What machines can safely run the larger models?
- 250 - small to mid-size skid steers
- 450 - mid-size machines (most common)
- 600 - larger skid steers or telehandlers
Always match your machine’s rated operating capacity to the loaded weight.
Is this better than a tow-behind mixer?
For most operators:
- faster setup
- no separate machine
- less labor
- mix, move, and pour with one operator
Can it handle aggregate?
Yes - it can handle mixes up to about 1.25" aggregate, depending on material consistency.
Is cleanup difficult?
No - like any concrete equipment, it should be rinsed after use, but the open design makes it easy to clean out. Very important to clean after use.
