Product Overview
Description
The Stinger Open-Sided Rock Grapple is built for operators who need maximum versatility and less restriction when handling material. Unlike standard rock grapples with solid sides, this design lets you grab longer rocks, logs, and awkward debris without fighting the bucket.
With tight tine spacing underneath and open sides on the ends, it gives you the ability to sift, grab, and carry material cleanly while still handling oversized loads that other grapples can’t.
If you’re working with mixed material and constantly dealing with oversized or uneven loads, this is where this grapple separates itself.
Features
- Open side design allows handling of long rocks, logs, and oversized debris that closed buckets cannot manage
- 2-7/8 inch tine spacing grabs smaller rocks while letting dirt fall through
- Dual independent grapples with 48 inch opening secure uneven and bulky loads
- 1/2 inch serrated cutting edge improves digging and helps with grading finish
- 3/8 inch Grade 50 steel tines built for strength and long-term durability
- Heavy-duty frame with 4x4 top tube and 3x3 bottom support prevents flexing under load
- Twin hydraulic cylinders with approx. 2500 PSI rating provide strong clamping force
- 1 inch greaseable pivot pins for smoother operation and longer lifespan
- Includes hoses and flat face couplers ready to run on your skid steer

FAQs
What makes this different from a standard rock grapple
The open sides allow you to handle longer material like logs and large rocks without being limited by bucket walls.
Is this better than a closed-side rock grapple
It depends. This is better for larger and longer material. Closed sides are better for containing smaller loose rocks.
Will dirt fall through when picking rocks
Yes. The tine spacing is designed to hold rock and debris while letting dirt drop through.
Why are dual grapples important
They clamp independently so uneven loads stay secure instead of shifting during transport.
Can this be used for digging
Light digging, yes. The serrated edge helps break into material, but it is primarily a handling attachment.
What size machine should run this
Mid to large skid steers get the most performance, especially on wider models.
What is the biggest mistake people make with this style grapple
Buying it for fine material. This is built for versatility and larger material, not tight containment.
