Product Overview
Description
The Prime Attachments Soil Conditioner is built to turn rough ground into a clean, finished surface in a single pass. Whether you’re prepping for seed, grading gravel, or cleaning up a jobsite, this attachment separates, levels, and refines material without the need for multiple tools.
Instead of just breaking up soil like a tiller, the rotating drum with carbide teeth pulls rocks forward, drops fine material underneath, and leaves behind a smooth, consistent surface ready for final grade or planting.
If you want professional results without multiple passes or attachments, this is where you get it.
Features
- 10" drum with carbide teeth aggressively breaks up clumps while separating material for a clean finish
- Direct drive hydraulic motor eliminates chains and sprockets for smoother, low-maintenance operation
- Bidirectional drum rotation lets you windrow material forward or refine the surface in reverse
- 25° angle capability (manual or hydraulic) allows you to control material flow left or right
- Floating quick attach plate follows ground contours for consistent grading across uneven terrain
- Solid rubber tires maintain consistent contact and control during operation
- Heavy-duty steel construction with carbide wear components built for contractor-level use

FAQs
What’s the difference between a soil conditioner and a tiller?
A tiller breaks up soil. A soil conditioner finishes it - separating rocks, leveling, and leaving a clean surface ready for seed.
Can this remove rocks from soil?
Yes, that’s one of its biggest advantages. The drum pulls rocks forward while letting finer material fall underneath.
Is this good for gravel work?
Yes, it’s excellent for reconditioning gravel driveways and leveling material without removing too much base.
Do I need hydraulic angle or is manual fine?
Manual works well for simple jobs, but hydraulic angle lets you adjust on the fly and move material more efficiently.
What kind of finish does it leave?
A smooth, consistent surface that’s ready for seeding or final grading without additional passes.
Will this work on compacted ground?
It will break up moderate compaction, but for heavily compacted soil, a tiller first may be more effective.
What’s the biggest mistake people make buying one?
Using it like a tiller. This is a finishing tool, not a deep ground-breaking attachment.
