Product Overview

Skid-Max | 3X Skid Steer Dirt and Gravel Grader
  • Description

The Skid-Max 3X Dirt and Gravel Grader is a heavy-duty skid steer attachment designed for spreading, leveling, and grading gravel, dirt, and aggregate surfaces. Built with a 3-blade cutting system, this grader allows operators to cut, mix, and smooth material in a single pass, dramatically improving efficiency compared to using a bucket.

Designed for contractors, farmers, and property owners, the 3X grader can handle everything from driveway maintenance to parking lot prep and road building. The unique blade pitch and multi-edge design allow it to cut hard-packed material, reclaim buried gravel, and leave a smooth finished surface.

    Features

    • 3-blade grading system for cutting, mixing, and smoothing
    • Dual forward cutting edges with rear blade for finishing and compaction
    • Designed to work forward and in reverse for better surface finish
    • Heavy-duty frame with reinforced side pans for material control
    • Caterpillar cutting edges for durability and performance
    • Bolt-on, replaceable skid shoes
    • Built-in bucket stops for easy transport of a dirt bucket across jobsite and transportation
    • Designed to cut and level even hard-packed material

  • Benefits

    Grades faster than a bucket

The multi-blade design allows you to spread, level, and finish material in one pass, working 3 to 4 times faster than a skid steer bucket.

    Cuts and reconditions hard surfaces

Designed to cut into compacted gravel and clay, helping restore driveways and jobsite surfaces without adding new material.

Smooths and compacts in both directions

The 3-blade system allows cutting and leveling going forward, while also smoothing and compacting when pulling in reverse.

    Reclaims existing gravel

Brings buried aggregate back to the surface, helping extend the life of roads and reduce material costs.

  • FAQs

Does this require hydraulics to run?

No - this is a fully mechanical attachment. Just hook up and go.

How is this different from a land plane or box blade?

Instead of dragging material, the multi-blade system cuts, rolls, and relays it, giving a smoother finish in fewer passes.

Can it cut into hard-packed gravel or clay?

Yes - the weight and blade pitch allow it to cut and break up compacted surfaces, not just level loose material.

Can I use this going backwards?

Yes - it works in both directions, which helps with finishing and pulling material.

Is it easy for new operators to use?

Yes - the design naturally levels material, making it easier to get consistent results without a lot of experience.

How much faster is it than using a bucket?

Most operators see significantly faster results, especially on driveways and roads, because it levels and redistributes material in fewer passes.
