Product Overview
Description
The ECHO X3 Skid Steer Tire Handler is the next generation of skid steer tire handling attachments designed to safely lift, rotate, and install large agricultural and heavy equipment tires. Built with the same proven design as the original Echo Handler, the X3 introduces three hydraulically adjustable legs and improved control to make handling oversized tires easier and more precise.
Handle 48–110" tires with its heavy-duty 8,000 lb axle spindle, 3,500 lb working load rating, and 30° rotation capability, the Echo X3 allows operators to maneuver large tires around fenders and accurately align wheel studs during installation.
Whether you're servicing tractors, sprayers, or heavy equipment tires, the Echo Handler X3 helps reduce labor, improve safety, and speed up tire changes using your skid steer.
Features
- Three hydraulically adjustable legs for improved control and positioning
- Handles 48–110" OD tires
- Gear driven flow diverter valve for smoother hydraulic operation
- 30° rotation in each direction for easier wheel alignment
- Heavy-duty 8,000 lb axle spindle
- 3,500 lb working load rating
- Ability to stack tires flat on the ground for easier storage or transport
- Designed for handling large agricultural and equipment tires
Benefits
Improves safety
Handling large agricultural tires can be dangerous. The Echo Handler X3 allows operators to lift and position heavy tires without manual handling.
Saves time
Hydraulic grabber arms and manual rotation allow operators to quickly position tires and align wheel studs during installation.
Reduces labor
One operator can safely manage large tires that would normally require multiple people.
Greater control
The three hydraulic legs allow the tire to be positioned precisely for removal, installation, or stacking.
Ideal For
- Tractor and combine tire installation and removal
- Sprayer and floater tire handling
- Large agricultural tire service
- Tire shops and mobile tire service trucks
- Farm maintenance and equipment service

FAQs
What hydraulic flow and pressure does the X3 require?
The X3 is designed to run on low to standard flow machines, with as little as 5+ GPM auxiliary hydraulics.
Will this run on smaller machines or anything with auxiliary hydraulics?
In most cases, yes. If your machine can run a grapple or auger, it can typically run the X3.
That said, hydraulic flow and lifting capacity are two different things - smaller machines may operate the attachment but be limited when handling larger or heavier tires.
Can I run this on machines other than skid steers?
Yes. The X3 can be used on:
- Skid steers and compact track loaders
- Telehandlers
- Wheel loaders
- Tractors
As long as the machine has aux hydraulics (5+ GPM) and a skid steer quick attach or Euro/Global mount (adapter may be required) and the lift capacity to carry the tire.
How does the X3 handle offset loads or uneven tire weight?
The three independent hydraulic legs allow you to center and stabilize uneven loads like liquid-filled tires or mounted assemblies, reducing slip and improving control.
How precise is the rotation when aligning lug holes?
The X3 offers 30° rotation left and right, allowing you to line up lug holes without constantly repositioning the machine.
Does the X3 require case drain or additional hydraulic hookups?
No. It runs off standard auxiliary hydraulics using flat-face couplers, making it plug-and-play on most machines.
