M&M Attachments | Hydra Rake Skid Steer Brush Grapple
  • Description

The M&M Hydra Rake Brush Grapple is built for skid steer and compact track loader operators who need a serious cleanup grapple for brush, trees, limbs, storm debris, hay, pipe, boards, scrap, tires, and other bulky material. The open rake-style design lets loose dirt fall through while holding the material you actually want to move.

This is a strong fit for farms, ranches, acreages, contractors, municipalities, public works crews, and DNR-style land management work. Whether you are cleaning up waterways, parks, trails, habitat areas, fence rows, roadsides, burn piles, or storm damage, the Hydra Rake gives operators a heavy-duty grapple that is not limited to one kind of material.

Available in 6', 7', and 8' widths, the Hydra Rake comes in Extreme 6 and Extreme 12 versions. Both are built the same, with the only difference being tooth spacing. Extreme 6 uses 6" tooth centers, while Extreme 12 uses 12" tooth centers. The Hydra Rake also features an over 48" tip-to-tip opening, a full-width solid grapple top, hidden cylinders and hoses, reinforced teeth, and a massive 6" heavy-wall main frame.

    Features

    • Open Rake Design: Holds brush, trees, limbs, and debris while letting loose dirt fall through.
    • Full-Width Grapple Top: Clamps material across the full width of the load for a more secure hold.
    • Extreme 6 or Extreme 12: Choose 6" tooth spacing for tighter cleanup or 12" tooth spacing for larger material.
    • Large Grapple Opening: Over 48" tip-to-tip opening gives more room for bulky brush, limbs, and debris.
    • Flat Ground Contact: Teeth lay flat on the ground instead of sitting raised like many grapples.
    • Reinforced Teeth: Every tooth is reinforced to the tip for stronger ground contact and material handling.
    • Protected Hydraulics: Cylinders and hoses are hidden on the back side to help reduce damage in brush and debris.

  • Benefits

Go-To for DNR and Land Management

A strong choice for trails, waterways, habitat cleanup, parks, roadsides, public land, storm debris, and conservation-style clearing.

    Handles More Than Brush

Moves trees, limbs, hay, pipe, boards, scrap steel, tires, burn piles, storm debris, and mixed cleanup material.

    Leaves Dirt Behind

The open rake design lets unwanted dirt fall through while holding brush, debris, and material in the grapple.

    Choose Your Tooth Spacing

Extreme 6 gives tighter spacing for smaller debris, while Extreme 12 gives wider spacing for larger brush and bulkier cleanup.

  • Ideal For

    • DNR, conservation, and land management crews maintaining trails, parks, waterways, habitat areas, and public land.
    • Farmers and ranchers cleaning fence rows, pastures, storm debris, burn piles, scrap piles, and field edges.
    • Property owners clearing hunting land, wooded acreage, trails, ditches, and overgrown areas.

  • FAQs

What is the difference between Extreme 6 and Extreme 12?

The build is the same. The difference is tooth spacing. Extreme 6 has 6" tooth centers, while Extreme 12 has 12" tooth centers.

Which tooth spacing should I choose?

Choose Extreme 6 for smaller brush, sticks, branches, and tighter cleanup. Choose Extreme 12 for larger limbs, trees, hay, scrap, tires, and bulkier material.

Why is this a good fit for DNR or land management crews?

It handles a wide range of cleanup work, including trails, waterways, habitat areas, storm debris, parks, roadsides, brush piles, and public land maintenance.

Can it move more than brush?

Yes. It can move hay, pipe, boards, scrap steel, brush, trees, tires, limbs, and mixed cleanup debris.

Why does the open rake design matter?

It lets dirt fall through while holding the material you want to move. That helps reduce unnecessary weight and keeps piles cleaner.

How wide does the grapple open?

The Hydra Rake opens over 48" tip to tip, giving operators more room to grab bulky or awkward material.

Are the cylinders and hoses protected?

Yes. The cylinders and hoses are hidden on the back side of the grapple to help protect them from brush, limbs, and debris.

    What size should I choose?

Choose 6' for smaller machines and tighter areas, 7' for an all-around setup, and 8' for larger machines or higher-volume cleanup work.
