Product Overview
Description
The Skid Max SMP-3HA is built for skid steer and compact track loader operators who need a faster way to grade gravel roads, driveways, farm lanes, parking areas, yards, and rough material surfaces. Instead of trying to crown, spread, and level material with a bucket, this 3-blade grader is made to cut, move, shape, and finish gravel or dirt in fewer passes.
The SMP-3HA is the hydraulic adjustable model, giving operators blade control from the cab for grading, spreading, leveling, and road maintenance. Optional shanks are available for breaking up hard-packed gravel, clay, dirt, and neglected surfaces before finishing. An optional Auto Crown patent pending design is also available for operators who want help grading and pushing material toward the right side to create a road crown. The exact design is patent pending, so the focus is simple: better road shape, improved drainage, and less time fighting gravel by hand or bucket.
Features
- Hydraulic Adjustable Design: Lets operators adjust the grader from the cab for changing road conditions and material flow.
- 3-Blade Grading System: Cuts, carries, spreads, and levels material for road, driveway, and yard maintenance.
- Optional Auto Crown: Patent pending design helps push material toward the right side to create a crown for better drainage.
- Optional Scarifier Shanks: Shanks can be added to break up hard-packed gravel, clay, dirt, and neglected surfaces.
- Forward and Reverse Grading: Works while pushing forward or pulling backward to help smooth material and clean up tracks.
- Material Shaping Control: Helps pull gravel from high spots, fill low spots, and reshape washed-out areas.
- Road Maintenance Focus: Built for gravel driveways, farm lanes, private roads, parking areas, and long property entrances.

FAQs
Is Auto Crown standard on the SMP-3HA?
No. Auto Crown is an option. The SMP-3HA is a hydraulic adjustable grader, and the Auto Crown patent pending design can be added for operators who want help creating a road crown.
What does the Auto Crown option do?
The Auto Crown option helps grade and push material toward the right side to create a crown. The exact design is patent pending, so the important part is the result: better road shape and improved water runoff.
Why does a crown matter on gravel roads?
A crown helps water shed off the road instead of sitting in the middle. That can help reduce potholes, washouts, soft spots, and repeated rework.
What are the optional shanks for?
The shanks help break up packed gravel, dirt, clay, and rough surfaces before the
grader blades shape and finish the material.
Can it be adjusted from the cab?
Yes. The SMP-3HA is the hydraulic adjustable model, so operators can adjust the grader from the skid steer or CTL seat.
Can it grade in reverse?
Yes. The grader can be used forward or backward, which helps smooth material, pull gravel, and clean up tracks.
Is this better than using a bucket?
For road grading, yes. A bucket can move material, but the SMP-3HA is built to cut, spread, level, and shape gravel more consistently.
What machines does it fit?
It fits skid steers and compact track loaders with universal skid steer quick attach. Match the grader size to your machine weight, traction, horsepower, and the type of material being graded.
